The location was great for exploring, close to key attractions and public transport. The breakfast options felt overpriced for what was provided, and the limited dining hours were disappointing. The comfortable mattress was good.

The hotel location is great in a beautiful neighborhood and just 2 blocks from the Tube. The lobby was gorgeous and I loved the classic decor throughout the hotel. It is so common for hotels to do modern(easy) decorating these days. This hotel is a refreshing departure from that trend and honors the historic nature of London. The staff was perfect. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious - beautiful marble bathrooms.
When we arrived, there were several problems with the room. The TV and shower were not working and a recessed light was hanging from the ceiling from it's wires. I called the front desk and they were very quick to have maintenance come up and fix everything. They were very apologetic and said they would check with the housekeeping staff to see what happened. Though it was a rocky first impression of the room, I was completely satisfied with the hotel's prompt and courteous response. Unfortunately, our room smelled very badly of smoke even after a 7 night stay. We could even smell it in our suitcases when we got home. Probably the carpets need replacing to remove the smell.

Excellent location, peaceful, gracious hotel near everything in London! The rate was amazing, the room is huge by London standards, staff was super helpful and room service did not disappoint :) definitely will stay here again!
If I have to say something - and this is minor - the tv doesn't have many channels.

Very good location, opulent rooms, great services. Not very far from Heathrow, not expensive for the quality it provides.

Joseph who worked on the front desk was spectacular. He always made sure that I was having a good stay and wanted to know what my plans were and if I was enjoying myself. His service was so attentive and he was the highlight of my stay.
This hotel and my room was far too overpriced (£250 for one night in a Queen Room). I have stayed in Chancery Court Hotel for half the price but with a room twice the size and a more comfy bed. The breakfast was very simple but nice but I am more used to grander selections, especially for the price.

Couples seeking relaxation
Had a lovely champagne afternoon tea with my wife here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were all attentive, double-checking our dietary needs and keeping our scones warm until we were ready, that's the kind of service that leaves a mark.
It wasn't inexpensive, but the experience felt justified.

The decor was excellent and staff very friendly/helpfull. The location was very suitable to our needs.
Cannot think of anything that we experienced whilst enjoying our stay at The Bentley and would certainly consider it as a hotel to stay at for any future London visits.
